A coffee table with a homage to Frank Lloyd Wrights architecture masterpiece, 'Falling Water'.  As a young design student I was captivated by the intersecting plains, the contract of material between natural and man-made and the cantilevered shapes of Falling Water.  This coffee table transposes those ideas and forms function from them.  The apertures at the end which would be windows make storage space for books, news papers or remotes.  And the light weight concrete uprights slide out to form a side table, or placed between legs for TV dinners or using a laptop at a sofa.
