Hidden Shelf was devised as an entrance shelf, with a particular security feature.  When arrive home we tend to unload our pockets to the nearest surface to the front door and while our homes should be safe when we are there, this is not always the case.  The Hidden Shelf works like a backwards drawer, and rather than pulling the drawer, you pull the carcass.  When the 'drawer' is closed it appears for all tense and purposes like it is a simple floating shelf.  The drawer runners have a hold in feature and click into a closed position, pulling tight to the wall.  The drawer unit is made from solid walnut with a blue leather base.
