As a Visual Merchandiser in IKEA Croydon, the World 2nd largest IKEA, my role was varied, including designing room sets, display stands and seasonal displays, in every detail; from lighting, to signage, the table placements. I working closely with the Sales Managers to assess where sales were below expected targets and redesign the areas, displays and products, utilising customer psychology in a way that would improve sales, communicate products better to customers.
