Playful uses of interlocking geometric shapes were used in tandem with the precise functionality and storage required by the client, to form this bespoke media unit.

The lacquered base incorporates a sliding door to expose one side of the other, with a solid walnut handle, and hidden cable management in the rear to keep all the cable neat and out of site.  The cables are then channelled into the walnut TV unit box, illuminated around the edge with Philips Hue RGB lights which the client has throughout the apartment and can be controlled from various switches and phone apps, as well as set to colour change with the media being played on the TV to create an ambient back light.

Complimenting the asymmetrical design is a floating walnut display shelf, an above a pair of white lacquered storage units with lift up door mechanisms.
